Navin Senadhira:
Navin is Sri Lankan and brings 30-years of rich experience in tourism & hospitality to Go Lanka Holidays.
By profession he is a qualified foreign language speaking Tour Guide, Tour Leader and Guide Trainer.
He enjoys meeting people, and takes immense pleasure in seeing them enjoy his services, and takes great pride in showing them the exotic beauty and hidden secrets of his homeland.
His destination knowledge of Sri Lanka is extensive and there is no place which he does not know of.
Amongst his language skills is his ability to speak fluent German, English and is conversational in Hindi; he has a knack to pick up languages.
Navin began his tourism career in 1979 in Sri Lanka and has engaged with leading German brands visiting Sri Lanka such as Meiers Welt Reisen and Tjaerborg.
In 1992 he moved to The United Arab Emirates and soon developed into a specialist Tour Leader for programs which covered the entire U.A.E and The Sultanate of Oman.
He soon became a much sought after Tour Guide and Group Leader for German speaking brands like ITS / Jahn Reisen, Hapag Lloyd and became a specialist for German study tour brand Gebeco and Swiss individual travel specialist Bischofberger Info Reisen.
Navin returned to Sri Lanka in November 2008 and with peace returning to Sri Lanka in May 2009, he settled himself back home and is now investing his skill, knowledge and experience into his own company to provide his guests the best value for money holiday deals in Sri Lanka
Tony Maheswaran
Tony is also Sri Lankan and has the complementary skills to add to Navin's and together it is a strong complement.
He manages processes ‘behind the scenes’ which includes procuring quality resources and designing programs.
Tony began his tourism career in 1981 at Sri Lankan blue chip Aitken Spence.
He moved in 1991 to the Arabian Gulf state of The United Arab Emirates and joined SNTTA Emir Tours, one of Dubai's top 5 Destination Management Companies at the time.
He was engaged in the phenomenal tourism growth of Dubai and the entire Arabian Gulf over 13 years until September 2004 when he decided to return home and invest his knowledge, skill and experience in the tourism industry of his homeland. He always felt he owed it to the country which taught him the basics.
He was extremely fortunate to get the opportunity on his return to Sri Lanka, first to be engaged in the travel arena of the tourism industry and then as a hotel marketer with a Sri Lankan pioneer in hospitality and it enabled him to see both sides of the tourism industry
His rich experience in tourism includes Individual and Group Travel, Incentive Travel & Conference, Shore Programs and Passenger Exchanges for Cruise Liners calling over in Dubai.
He has traveled widely to many countries and this adds to his ability of perceiving what a visitor expects on a holiday.
He is now enjoying investing his capabilities and experience together with his colleague Navin to bring memorable holiday experiences to their guests visiting Sri Lanka.
